London Meridian Players

Performing without a conductor, the newly founded London Meridian Players gave their successful debut in 2016. Consisting of young string players and closely associated with the Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance, the Greenwich based string chamber orchestra focuses its interpretation on energy and communication, approaching works from the orchestral repertoire with a chamber music attitude.
Lead by young Dutch-Swiss violinist Jesper Gasseling, the London Meridian Players are excited to continue their collaboration in their next project with an arrangement of Brahms' string quintet in G major and Britten's “Les illuminations“, joined by young soprano Verity Bramson.
